Well.ca Pop-Up

Last week, I was able to attend the grand opening of the Well.ca pop-up shop! I’ve been shopping at Well.ca for over a year now, and it’s one of my best resources for green beauty, local and Canadian brands, as well as hard-to-find wellness and green lifestyle products.

So when I found out that they were going to have a pop-up shop over this summer, I had to check it out!

Beautiful Space

The pop-up shop is located at the Shops at Don Mills in Toronto, and will be open for the next four months. It’s a bright, gorgeous space and if you’re in the Toronto area, you should definitely pop in (hehe) and check it out. Here are just some of the products you’ll find at the new store:

Well.ca Cleaning Supplies

The store is divided into different sections that correspond to what the online retailer specializes in selling. I loved this adorable rainbow of cleaning supplies, complete with local brand (and my fave green cleaning brand), Sapadilla! This section of the store also featured Method, The Honest Company, Lemon Aide and Nellie’s All-Natural Laundry.

Well.ca Pop-Up Displays

Can you say gorgeous? I loved the home decor section with bar accessories, tea and coffee pots, and cute decorating ideas. There was also a lunch section featuring everything needed for a litterless lunch, including favorite S’well water bottles in so many pretty colours and patterns!

Well.ca Favourites

Towards the back of the store was the baby & kids section, along with a rack featuring some best sellers from the Well.ca website. I was really surprised at some of the products included there! There’s so much on the site that I’ve yet to discover!

Well.ca Now Essential Oils

There were a few brands at the grand opening that came to demonstrate products. Among them was Now Essential Oils, who had DIY recipes for different essential oil uses. I was able to get a little fragrance oil DIY: lemon essential oil diluted in the carrier sweet almond oil. It makes a quick and fresh scented perfume oil!

More Well.ca Favourites

Now Essential Oils and Now Oil Diffusers are featured prominently in the shop, along with other customers faves.

Well.ca Healthy Snacks

The shop also includes a lot of healthy snacks, including some of my fave organic chocolate bars by Giddy Yoyo. These bars score high points from me for being some of purest organic dark chocolate available, locally made, as well as amazingly delicious. Bonus: these bars are an in-store exclusive! 🙂

Well.ca Beauty Blender

But of course, the beauty section was my favourite part of the store. I always get my beautyblenders from Well.ca now, since they periodically have 20% sales on this brand!

Well.ca Crawford Street

They carry a huge selection of beauty brands, including the local company Crawford Street natural skincare.

Well.ca Hair Care

The beauty section also carries organic haircare favourites from John Masters Organics, as well as some of my fave organic haircare from Vancouver’s Carina Organics.

Well.ca Carina Organics

They even have Carina Organics products for the little ones, featured in the baby & kids section.

Well.ca for Men

And for those of you looking for some masculine products or to convert your man to using natural products, they’ve definitely got you covered with Gentlemen’s Hardware, Malechemy by Cocoon Apothecary as well as the Northern Beard Company.

Well.ca Saint Cosmetics

But what I was really drawn to was the makeup! Saint Cosmetics, a new natural makeup brand from Woodbridge, Ontario, was on hand with makeovers and a gorgeous display of their products to swatch and play with.

They also brought along some of their new eye shadow palettes, coming soon to Well.ca. Just look at those colours! And they are so pigmented! Cynthia, who was there to represent the brand, mentioned that the peachy and pink neutral palettes are the most popular. But those blue and green palettes though! I’ll take one of each, please! 😉
Well.ca Decim
One of the most intriguing displays was the Trending Beauty Buys, where the beauty supplement brand Fountain was prominently displayed. The liquids, which are meant to be consumed at a rate of two teaspoons a day, include ingredients such as Phyto-Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid, which I’m familiar with from topical skincare. Well.ca has plenty of health and wellness supplements to choose from, but this was the first time I’ve encountered a company that creates supplements to support beauty from the inside out.
So that’s all I have for this photo tour of the new Well.ca pop-up shop! If you’re in Toronto, do check it out sometime over the next four months. And if you’re anywhere else in Canada or the USA, you can shop Well.ca anytime! And in the meantime, stay tuned for an upcoming video and blog post where I’ll show you everything I got while I was at the grand opening!
Do you shop Well.ca? What are some of your faves on the site? Have you checked out the pop-up shop? What do you think of it so far? I’d love to read all about your impressions in the comments!
